Educational Qualification

Candidates from the recognized Board and ITI in relevant trade recognized by NCVT / SCVT should have passed 10th standard examination or its equivalent (in 10 2 exam system) with minimum 50 per cent marks.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 15 years and maximum age at 24 years. The age of the applicant should be between a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 24 years. The upper age limit of five years has been relaxed in the case of SC / ST candidates and three years in the case of OBC candidates.

Application fee

  • For all General / OBC candidates: ₹100
  • There is no fee for SC/ST/Women/PWD candidates.

Payment of application fee: Pay the examination fee through debit card, credit card, net banking.

Selection Process

Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

For the purpose of calculation of percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be reckoned and not on the basis of marks of any subject or a group of subjects like best of five etc.

For the purpose of calculation of percentage of ITI marks, average marks mentioned in consolidated statement of marks for all semesters of the trade applied / marks mentioned in the Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT / SCVT, will only be reckoned.
